With a pool, bar, two picturesque lakes, and tennis courts for some friendly (or probably not friendly) pickleball matches, it’s the ideal backdrop for a weekend escape with our closest family and friends. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or walking the trails, we can’t wait to share this incredible experience with you.From casual afternoons to elegant evening celebrations, our wedding weekend promises a blend of relaxation, fun, and of course, a little romance. It’s not just a wedding, but a chance to create lasting memories with our loved ones as we say “Oui” in the heart of France!

    what to expect over the weekend

    We've crafted an itinerary to suit everyone’s tastes and ensure there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each day will feature an array of gourmet food, curated drinks, and a variety of activities, allowing you to indulge at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to relax, explore, or engage in some friendly competition, you’ll find plenty of options to make the most of your time at the chateau.

    Day 1 - Welcome Din 🎉

    Kick off the weekend with a night of games, laughter, and delicious bites. We can’t wait to relax and hang out with you as we toast to the start of an unforgettable celebration!

    day 2 - Wedding Day 💒

    Our most cherished day awaits, filled with love, elegance, and memories to last a lifetime. Expect a few surprises as we say 'oui' to forever!

    Day 3 - Pool & bbq day 👙

    A fun-filled day by the pool with lawn games and spontaneous dance parties—what could be better? Come ready for laughs, sun, and a little friendly competition.

    day 4 - Head out 👋🏼

    We say au revoir and head down to the French Riviera! We do not have to leave the property until 4pm, so expect to enjoy the property in the morning and early afternoon.

    What should i pack?

    Please see below for a recommended packing list based on the wedding weekend activities:

    1. Welcome Party (Day 1 - Cute/Semi-Formal)

    • Semi-formal outfit for the evening (think summer dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or smart-casual attire for men)

    • Comfortable shoes for mingling and dancing

    • a BIG appetite

    2. Wedding Day (Day 2 - Formal)

    • Formal attire (cocktail dresses and summer suits)

    • Comfortable dress shoes (the chateau grounds will require some walking to/from the ceremony and different reception areas, including grass and gravel)

    • Accessories to match your outfit (jewelry, ties, etc.)

    • A light sweater or wrap in case of cool evening breezes

    3. Pool & BBQ Day (Day 3 - Bathing Suits & Activity Clothes)

    • Bathing suit and cover-up

    • Comfortable clothes for outdoor activities (think shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes) ((but also like, look cute for pics))

    • Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses

    • Flip-flops or sandals for lounging by the pool

    4. Departure Day (Day 4 - Comfy Travel Clothes)

    • Comfortable travel clothes for the journey home (think leggings, sweats, or casual wear)

    • A light jacket or cardigan for comfort on the way

    this is literally the funniest picture ever

    Story time - when Dion and I were in Morocco, on our big excursion out to the Sahara desert, we booked a private tour. What we didn't realize was that this meant we got our own private luxury camp out in the middle of the desert, and assigned our own tour guide who insisted on taking 4,000 pictures of us... including this one.He then proceeded to swindle us into buying a stone carving of a camel that he kept wrapped up inside his backpack.Key takeaways:
    - Riding a camel is not as smooth as you think it will be, in fact it's SO bumpy
    - Never let someone coerce you into taking a photo making a heart shape with your hands in Morocco, you will have to pay him $20 after
